What should I wear?
Wear something that makes you feel confident and comfortable. I always recommend outfits that reflect your personality while avoiding busy patterns or large logos. Once you're booked, I'll send over styling tips, and I'm always happy to help you narrow down outfit choices or offer feedback before your session.
Can I bring props?
Absolutely! Props are a great way to make your session feel more personal. Whether it's your graduation cap and gown, sports equipment, musical instrument, books, flowers, or something meaningful to you, I'd love to incorporate items that help tell your story.
I'm awkward in front of the camera—can you help?
Of course! Most of my clients tell me this before their session. You don't need any modeling experience—I'll guide you through natural poses and easy prompts that help you feel relaxed and confident. Before you know it, you'll forget the camera is even there.
Can I bring a friend or family member?
Definitely! Bringing someone along can help you feel more relaxed and make the experience even more enjoyable. They can help carry belongings, cheer you on, and offer support throughout your session. Just keep in mind that the focus of the session will remain on you
How long until we receive our gallery?
You'll receive your fully edited online gallery within 2–3 weeks of your session. From there, you can download your images, share them with family and friends, and order professional-quality prints directly from your gallery.
How do I choose a location?
Don't worry if you don't have a location in mind! I'll help you choose a setting that fits your personality and the style you're envisioning. Whether you love open fields, charming downtown streets, waterfront views, or something completely unique, we'll find the perfect backdrop together.
What if it rains?
If the weather doesn't cooperate, we'll simply reschedule for the next available date that works for both of us. My goal is to make sure you have the best possible experience, and that includes beautiful weather whenever we can.
Do you travel?
Yes! I'm based in Connecticut and photograph sessions throughout the state and surrounding areas. Travel within a reasonable distance is included, and I'm always happy to travel farther for an additional fee. If you have a location in mind, let's chat—I love exploring new places!
