What should I wear?
I always recommend choosing outfits that complement one another rather than matching exactly. Neutral tones, soft colors, and subtle patterns photograph beautifully and keep the focus on your family. After booking, I'll send over a styling guide with tips and inspiration to help you feel confident in what you choose.
What if my children don't cooperate?
No worries at all—that's completely normal! My sessions are relaxed and designed around connection rather than perfect poses. We'll play, explore, laugh, and take breaks when needed. Some of the sweetest images come from the candid moments in between, so there's never any pressure for little ones to sit perfectly still or smile on command.
What if it rains?
If the weather isn't cooperating, we'll simply reschedule your session at no additional cost. I always keep an eye on the forecast leading up to your session and will reach out if we need to make a plan. Your experience (and your photos!) are worth waiting for the best conditions.
What if my child(ren) need a break?
That's completely okay! Sessions are never rushed, and I always follow your child's lead. Whether we need to stop for a quick cuddle, a snack, or a few minutes to explore, those little pauses often lead to the most genuine smiles and authentic moments.
How long until we receive our gallery?
You'll receive your fully edited online gallery within 2–3 weeks of your session. From there, you can download your images, share them with family and friends, and order professional-quality prints directly from your gallery.
Where do family sessions take place?
We'll choose a location that fits your family's style! Whether you love open fields, parks, beaches, downtown streets, or somewhere that's meaningful to your family, I'm happy to recommend locations and help you find the perfect setting.
Can grandparents or extended family join?
Immediate family is included in all family collections. If you'd like to include grandparents or extended family, I'd love to make it happen! The Keepsake collection includes extended family members!
What time of day do sessions take place?
Most sessions take place during golden hour—the hour before sunset—when the light is soft, warm, and flattering. This creates the dreamy, timeless look you see throughout my portfolio. Morning sessions are also available for certain locations or schedules.
